Meet Jeff Danberry
Welcome to Excelsior Design Group! My name is Jeff Danberry and I have been designing and building residential homes throughout the western suburbs for over thirty years. As a licensed contractor, I have worked with hundreds of homeowners to develop creative ideas and innovative alternatives that fit their budget. Over the years, I’ve come to the realization that my strength lies in the architectural design phase of these projects. I started Excelsior Design Group because a comprehensive design is essential to a successful building project. That is why we should be the first call you make when you decide to start your next project!
From small bathroom remodels to total home construction, I’ve worked with homeowners throughout Hennepin County. I’ve designed and remodeled old homes and built new ones. I know what floor plans will work and which ones will not. I have a team of interior designers and draftsman that will help you pick out such things as cabinets, wall fixtures, paint colors and more! I have won multiple design awards and has been featured in a number of publications.
I have three daughters and I have lived in the Lake Minnetonka area since the 70’s. I know the neighborhoods, the school districts and the city planners. At Excelsior Design Group we support the community in many ways. We volunteered our time to build an outdoor classroom for Excelsior Elementary and we donate a scholarship to the Orono High School every fall. We even helped design and remodel Maynard’s wharf bar!
My eldest daughter, Lyndsey, battled leukemia as a child so we support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We’ve supported the LLS fundraiser, Man and Woman of the Year, several times. Together, Lyndsey and I have raised over $70,000 in the fight to cure blood cancers. We’re also strong supporters of other organizations such as Toys for Tots, St. Jude’s and local food shelves.
My daughter Lyndsey and I also own the Danberry Building Corp (license #BC638945) together. We’ve partnered to bring design projects to life through successful construction management.
