Over 25 Million Monthly Unique Users Rated Top-Rated Home Building, Remodeling and Design Professionals in the United States and Around the World
Tonka Bay, January 20, 2015 – Excelsior Design Group of Tonka Bay, MN has been awarded “Best Of Houzz” for Customer Satisfaction by Houzz, the leading platform for home remodeling and design. EDG, leader in home renovation, design and remodel, was chosen by the more than 25 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community from among more than 500,000 active home building, remodeling and design industry professionals.
The Best Of Houzz award is given in two categories: Design and Customer Satisfaction. Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 25 million monthly users on Houzz, known as “Houzzers.” Customer Satisfaction honors are determined by a variety of factors, including the number and quality of client reviews a professional received in 2014. Winners will receive a “Best Of Houzz 2015” badge on their profiles, helping Houzz users around the world who discover and love a professional’s work to learn even more about that business’ popularity and satisfaction rating among their peers in the Houzz community.
“I’ve seen many homeowners express concern that they have no idea where to start in their quest to design and remodel their home. At EDG, we take pride in having the experience to guide homeowners through the maize of regulations and procedures to help ensure the successful completion from concept to completion. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority.” President, Jeff Danberry, said.
Excelsior Design Group did a Total Remodel in Orono. They converted the home into a quaint, farmhouse with elegant interior touches.
When lake-area residents Randy and Shelly Chesley first laid eyes on the home in the Casco Point neighborhood of Orono, they knew right away it was their dream house.
“When we came driving by, it just stood out to me like that’s where I needed to live,” Shelly says. “It reminded me of a farmhouse, but it wasn’t too country.”
The home’s quaint, farmhouse feel and elegant interior touches are the handiwork of Jeff Danberry of Danberry Building Corp.
The story featured a Tonka Bay kitchen makeover inspired by mid-century modern roots.
The home was originally designed and built by architect Jackson Griswold in 1956 on a wooded bluff in Tonka Bay. Griswold raised his family there and stayed until he died in 2008. The architect was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.
